Tell me this. Does the food taste good? Because if the answer is yes, then the experience is worth trying. If the answer is no, then it’s not. I have been to many starred restaurants and many fine dining restaurants in places the Michelin Guide does not cover, and you’ll see a lot of fun things happening. Smoke, foams, guest participation in courses, etc… I have no problem with that unless the food doesn’t taste good, because if the food is bad then what would normally be fun and playful just becomes an unnecessary gimmick.
